What is the aftercare? Is there any downtime?Lemon Bottle Treatment is minimally invasive so there is very little downtime- however we advise the following: Massage the Area: Gentle massage of the treated area can help distribute the solution and expedite the fat dissolution process. Drink plenty of water to help flush out the dissolved fat and to keep yourself generally well hydrated which will maximise the effects of lipolysis (destruction of fat cells). Do not smoke, or drink caffeine or alcohol and avoid aspirin and ibuprofen based products for 48 hours post procedure. Redness - Any redness should disappear over the following 6 to 24 hours following treatment. Swelling - do not expose the treated area to intense heat or to extreme cold for the following 48 hours following treatment. A clean cool pack can be applied directly to the treated area if there is any bruising or swelling. Non prescription paracetamol may be taken to reduce any localised tenderness so long as you are medically suitable to take them. Bruising - Lemon Bottle injections can cause areas of bruising although this would not normally be expected to occur. Any such bruising will be temporary. If you are taking any medication or dietary supplements that can affect platelet function and bleeding time, the severity and period of bruising can be extended. Arnica cream and/or tablets can help to minimise and resolve bruising more quickly. Make-up can be applied to cover bruising approximately 12 hours post treatment. Tenderness or discomfort at the injection site site for 24 to 72 hours following treatment - non prescriptive paracetamol analgesia can be taken. Refrain from touching the treated area with your hands - this will reduce the chances of bringing bacteria to the area and causing infection at the injection site. Only use a gentle wash and tepid warm water to cleanse your treated area and gently pat dry after treatment. Do not rub, scrub, use toners or products containing retinols or acids for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment. Do not use sunbeds or sunbathe for 2 weeks post treatment. Avoid electrolysis, waxing and bleaching for 72 hours post procedure. Do not swim in chlorinated water, use hot tubs or saunas for 2 weeks. Do not exercise for 24 hours.

How does Lemon Bottle Fat Dissolving work?Lemon Bottle is a type of lipolysis treatment. ‘Lipolysis’ means the breakdown of fats by a process called hydrolysis, a term which covers the release of fatty acids. It’s important to note that lipolysis treatments like Lemon Bottle aren’t weight loss solutions – they are fat removal solutions. They’re best suited to people who are maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regime and are close to their ideal weight, but are struggling with stubborn, hard-to-lose pockets of fat in certain areas. Lemon Bottle’s solution is popular because it is highly effective and it’s comprised of natural active ingredients including; Bromelain – Derived from pineapples, Bromelain is a powerful digestive enzyme which is often used in anti-obesity medications. It triggers fat breakdown whilst also having a powerful anti-inflammatory effect which reduces swelling and puffiness. Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) – Riboflavin plays an essential role in turning carbohydrates, proteins and fats into energy in the body. The body can’t store much of this water-soluble vitamin, but it is crucial for fat metabolism and oxidation. Lecithin – A naturally derived fatty substance which attracts both water and fats – reducing cholesterol and maintaining healthy arteries, veins and blood vessels. During treatment, Lemon Bottle’s advanced solution is injected into the fatty deposit area. It then gets to work under the skin, breaking down the stubborn fat wall before breaking down each fat cell, turning the fat into fatty acid. This is then taken care of by the body’s natural waste removal processes and will be flushed out of the body every time you urinate. This is why water intake needs to be at least two litres a day after treatment to help flush the fatty acid out quicker.

Is one session enough?Although the majority of people see results after one treatment, a course of three treatments is recommended. How many sessions are needed will depend on your individual goals and preferences.

How long do the results last?The results are permanent, but this does depend on you maintaining a healthy diet and active lifestyle post-treatment to prevent stubborn areas of fat from reforming and returning. Lemon Bottle treatment permanently dissolves and destroys fat cells – but it can’t stop new fat cells forming if you are not eating well and exercising regularly.

Do Spray Tans smell?When fake tan was first created it did have a tell tale ‘biscuity’ smell. However, modern formulations are scented with sweet fragrances that are highly effective. Many Sienna X products contain natural ingredients that rejuvenate the skin, improve elasticity and reduce the risk of developing cellulite. What more could you ask for?

How long will my Spray Tan last?Your radiant tan will last for about 5 to 10 days depending on how well you care for your skin following your treatment. If you moisturise your skin regularly and avoid using harsh shower gels and soaps that can cause the colour to fade, your burnished tan will look glorious all week.

How should I prepare for my Spray Tan?Remove any unwanted hair a couple of days before your sunless tanning session. This is especially important if you tend to wax your legs and underarms because it gives time for your open pores to close up. If fake tan is applied immediately after a wax it can lead to a spotty finish and possible streaks. Be sure to moisturise as well in order to hydrate the top layer of skin cells that will react with the clever darkening ingredients in spray tan solution.

How do Spray Tans work?Fake tan contains a chemical called DHA, which reacts with the air and the amino acids in the top layer of the skin, causing it to gradually darken. Only the uppermost skin cells are affected.

How long does a spray tan take?It takes just 15 minutes for a top to toe spray tan! It’s super quick, hassle free and promises to create a flawless finish. Once your skin dries you should pop on some loose clothing to avoid creating any marks on the skin, wait for the colour to develop and wash the solution off in the shower.

Are Spray Tans safe?Yes, it is completely safe! DHA is non-toxic and the skin darkening reaction is confined to the top later of the skin only – nothing is absorbed into the body. This is highlighted in the way that a fake tan fades away slowly as the skin cells undergo their natural regeneration process and flake off the body.
